The Demonstration Center provides hands on experience with a variety of Assistive Listening and Alerting/Signaling Devices. Chapter volunteers provide helpful information and guidance.

The Rochester Chapter's Assistive Listening Demonstration Center is open from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM at Lifespan 1900 S. Clinton Avenue, Rochester, 14618the third Thursday of the month September through June. 

Assistive Listening Devices are devices that are designed to be used by an individual to help augment hearing when hearing aids /cochlear implants are not enough.

Assistive Listening Systems are systems used in large venues to assist many people at the same time, when their hearing aids or cochlear implants are not enough.

An Assistive Listening System (ALS) may be indicated by a specific Systm Logo or a general Logo, indicating that there is a system being used, but which system is not indicated.
