ROCHESTER VETERANS STAND DOWN
September 23,2026 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM, at the Rochester Public Market​
Your HLAA Rochester Chapter will be joining other organizations and companies to sponsor this exciting VETERANS STAND DOWN & JOB FAIR.
Our Gold Star Sponsorship will be included on posters distributed, signage and mentioned at the event.
This event is expecting 300+ veterans, 50 employers and recruit 65 service providers. This is a community-wide event to provide assistance to all veterans in need across our six- county service area.
Veteran Stand Down will be offering information and services for Veteran benefits, VA eligibility, healthcare, employment, social services, public assistance, housing and Veteran organizations.
The HLAA Rochester Chapter is proud of our ongoing support and involvement with local veterans, including:

Our free lifetime membership for veterans with hearing loss

Financial support to the Rochester Veterans Outreach Center

Thanksgiving and Holiday meals provided to our local veterans in need

Our new venture, VETERANS STAND DOWN.

​The “Hear Well – Live Well” HLAA New York State Conference will be here sooner than you think!

Note:The HLAA Rochester Chapter will be offering $300 to chapter members attending If they are current with their ‘26-27’ annual Chapter dues and staying for two nights. This offering is to assist with one’s overall Conference expenses. Once again, your Chapter is pleased to assist Chapter members!
We are seeking donations for the NYSA Conference Silent Auction in October.

​All proceeds go directly to the NYSA organization. HLAA members from New York and surrounding states will be participating in the auction.

Donation Details:

We are collecting items that represent the Rochester/Finger Lakes region to create a "Chapter Basket" for bidding. Gift cards for franchised restaurants or stores are welcome.
​
